I'm working on a free cam and I'm trying to use hotkeys to increase/decrease cam coordinates. If I increment (increase/decrease) the value too high, the cam isn't fluid (choppy), but if I increment the value too low, it takes forever to move. Hoping there's a way to keep my increment low, but modify the hotkey refresh rate.

To start of you can use
Code:

setGlobalKeyPollInterval(interval)

to increase the polling frequency of hotkeys inside CE (the lower the fastest. 0 will eat your cpu for breakfast)

Then you can either adjust the hotkey repeat interval per hotkey, or globally
per hotkey it's something like:
Code:

hk=createHotkey(function() print("bla") end, VK_A)
hk.DelayBetweenActivate=interval

where interval is the number of milliseconds between it retriggering again


or you can use the global function
Code:

setGlobalDelayBetweenHotkeyActivation(interval)

though not recommended as it affects EVERY hotkey that hasn't set a custom reactivation delay
