So I reviewed the tutorial and read through the MLP (hurrhurr) documentation but I'm still having a little bit of an issue.

Essentially I am using pointer scanner and restarting my game each time and finding the address again, then rescanning to point to that address. The problem is, after about 10 restarts I still have about 124,500 results and it's only losing a few thousand per restart. Am I overthinking this?

There are multiple ways to get from point A to B , and that goes for pointers as well. There isn't just 1 valid result, there can be thousands of results all valid

Just pick a pointer (i usually go for the one with least amount of offsets) and use it. It it goes wrong due to bad luck just pick another one (and rescan first)

you can also request other people with that game to give you pointermaps so you can use that to filter out more

Ooooh, I bet I could boot up my server and download/install it on there and generate pointermaps for it too. :O
