Despite the bar having been filled snd results showing i get this when i try next scan

is your disk very slow or full? It could be it's writing the undo scan files(not counted in the scan bar) and the disk is full

Usually I get this only when the scan finds a lot of addresses.
with unknown initial value for example. you could check if disk usage is high.
even with ssd disk usage can go up to 100 %. haven't tried with m.2 ssd yet

That's normal and completely by design
it's saving the undo data, first scan data, and optimizing the datafiles for the next scan

yeah i was thinking it's by design. considering it may take a few seconds on ssd, i can imagine the processing taking some time on hdd. you could wait a few seconds after scanning before doing next scan. then it might not do that.
maybe a ssd with around 3000 mb/s read speed would help.

i have to wait for say minute to be sure especially the more results are.
But its not a big deal just wanted to see if this is bug or something .
Thanks DB for the answers on the topic. Meanwhile 7.0 is very good so far.
