Hello community
I tried to get the pointer of the x coordinate of a RPG VX Ace made game and got to a level 3 pointer. (see attachment Lvl3Pointer.png)
At this point, when I click on "What access to this pointer", I got one result which looks like that (see attachment AccessToThis.png).
Fine, now I get the address of the "More Information" window and I typed the found address into the search bar of Cheat Engine and started a new search - but sadly nothing was found. (see attachment NothingFound.png)
Do you know guys what could be the problem?
Maybe the disassembler can help, see attachment Disassembler.png
Thanks in advance
Understood

if you included all memory instead of just writable(and no fastscan), you'd have found 1d3eb901
then you'd have to find a pointer that leads you to 1d3eb900. Since it's code you'll have to set a breakpoint there and then figure out what calls it, and then figure out how that code gets that address. Is it hardcoded, a relative jmp, etc...

Thank you for your answer.
Ok, I changed the scan settings (see attachment ScanSettings.PNG).
I accomplished it to get level 5 of the pointer, when I click on "What access to this address" at level 4, then I get this result see attachment Result.PNG
But when I enter the address "25F74CC1" in the search box and hit enter it finds again nothing.
Then I watched the disassembler and saw that EDI gets the value of EAX, and EAX gets before the value of ESI - so I watched under the "More Information" window the value of ESI and searched for it and found something.
But I don't know how to add this pointer, I have no offset or anything...

that can be read as mov edi,[eax+00000000000000000000000000000000]
so offset is 0
