Hello,
I am trying to use the speedhack to slow down the game "N++" or "Nplusplus". I am having trouble with it however as it simply does not seem to work. There is no error, or any popup at all. I have tried disabling vsync as per an old thread I saw, but still no luck.

Is there anything else I can try?

Speedhack doesnt work on all games. Sometimes there's just no effect. Dunno why though

That is weird. Do you know of anything else or another way to slow down applications? I'd really love to get this working.

Well, you could theoretically slow down your entire pc butthat would bring along alot ofother problema

You can find and change level (and items in it) state. 4 bytes for type of item, and next 4 for it's state. For example, activated mine is "00 00 10 40". And next four bytes are "01 00 00 00" if its not activated (not stepped on), "02 00 00 00" if you are standing on it and "00 00 00 00" if its activated and dangerous.
You can search for array of bytes "00 00 10 40 01 00 00 00" and freeze it, so mines will never activate.

Its possible to find every item and it's state code.
Please post if you will find something else (other items codes).

And I think all items have their place in memory according to how they are placed in the level.

Hey, did you find any other byte arrays for other enemies? I've tried searching but I haven't a clue as to how I'll know whether I've found them or not. The Toggle Mines work like a charm though.

How can you find out that "00 00 10 40" is a mine? This is magic.

The mines array is still working,
array search 00 00 10 40 00 00 00 00
and change plus freeze it to 00 00 10 40 01 00 00 00

I tried with the level editor to add objects but did not find any new array values.

The memory region with the 10 40 values shows other repeating values for example:
80 6C 40
AB 01
15 01
40 87 40
90 B9 73 54

But if they are changed to zeros, nothing happens or the game crashes.
