Cheat Engine

Hi, just as title says, any ideas?

I tried copying the folder from my main system and also installed it. as soon as i run cheat engine in virtualbox it causes mega lag. mouse is not even moving. it's more like input lag because game seem to running far faster than the mouse pointer. as soon as i close ce, everything goes back to normal.

i have i7-6700k @ 4.2ghz and i allocated all 8 cores to virtualbox and 6gb ram. when checking with task manager, it doesn't even use that much resources. so there must be something else causing this
its surely more of an input lag than generic lag. even the green/red box that glows around the open process in CE, the visuals are fine, but when typing or moving mouse its just unbarable. it takes like 10 seconds to move mouse from end to end it stutters so bad.

any ideas on how to fix this? thanks
