Hello, I am pretty experienced with cheat engine, as I used to use it a lot (around the v6.3 release) and decided to come back to try and mess around with a couple of games. I decided I would run through the tutorial as a refresher, but I have encountered a problem on Step 3. When I pinpoint the addresses that are for sure the ones we are looking for (the Unknown inital value) by using the decreased value method, I add the two values to the list, and go to change their value to 5000, but as soon as I do this, the values are immediately reverted back to their original value, in this case, 350. I am unsure how to fix this problem, if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate the help!

did you try the 168? After all it's within the 0-500 range.

Sorry for the delayed reply, but I just attempted this again today with the 64-bit tutorial, and it did work without issue. Also to note: there was only a single address that matched what we are looking for in this step of the tutorial. Out of curiosity, why would the 64-bit version enable this to work, and the other version cause it to malfunction?

That is correct. It is how it should work

I don't really know, i guess it is a matter of data structure alignment.

Probably someone more experienced than me could give you a better explaination of that, like Darkbyte (i think he wrote those tuts) but i guess that for the 32bit Tutorial 32bit CE will work.
