Cheat Engine

Long story short, I need to revive Oswald of Carim in Dark Souls.

I have a basic understanding of how Cheat Engine works, and if i am correct, I need to scan for the correct values? I am not sure how to do this.

Any help would be much appreciated. I do not want to loose my progress!!

I don't think it is going to be as simple as changing some value.

It is possible with the standard Cheat Engine. Here's how I did it:

1. Set up the cheat engine (look up guides)
2. Edit > Settings > Tick "all custom types"
2. Start > World Flags (something like that) > Oswald Oscrar
3. Set the rows of variables in respective order

Set 0 -> 0
Set 1 -> 8 (yes, the instruction to set to 1 is wrong, Oswald wouldn't talk to you)
? -> 0

4. Lock each of the rows by ticking them
5. Rest at bonfire and reenter the session through the starting screen
