I was wondering, could you reverse so much with cheat engine that you could build a bot like (a bot for WoW) Honorbuddy (assuming you're a pro programmer) just by finding shit through cheat engine ? or would it be better/ easier / faster, RE a big game like wow in IDA or someshit

You would need to know much about asm to do that. There isn't something magical you could know about CE to make bots.

Same way for IDA, it does require some getting used to but ultimately what you can do with it comes down to how much assembly you know.

I recommend this book, its not super advanced but its perfect for getting to know how shit actually works on the asm level and its super fun to read. Back when i was starting, i came across it and i stopped being a noob or at least thinking like one when it came to looking at the output of Ollydbg Very Happy

Pirate it or whatever, even if you skim through some chapters, you will stop being so clueless to make threads like these.
