Cheat Engine

Recently game across some text/image based games using Quest Soft Player. Been searching high and low for what it uses and can't figure it out.
I know the saves are done through Hex, But going through that amount of hex for a simple money cheat is tedious and a long drawn task.
Was wondering if anyone has any info regarding how to use Cheat engine with QSP Have tried 4 byte and 8 byte hex and regular.

Any help is appreciated to point me in the right direction.

*Side Note* Just noticed after spending some money on certain things.. Having $62 and buying coffee which in text is labeled as costing $1 lowers me to $60 instead of $61 , Currently going through decimals.

Just started playing another game with QSP (TeenSexQuest) and cheat engine works fine. But the game has a trigger built in for cheats to reset the day. If anyone knows QSP or can figure out a workaround it would be appreciated.
