Martin Shkreli did a few free stocks/investing classes I'm pretty sure. I watched one of the first ones and he basically said what Antagonist said. You either use someone else's (shit loads) of money or you don't bother.

Historical long run stock returns have been 6.8% adjusted for inflation. So your real returns is probably gonna be around 5% depending on how much you diversify.

Imo I don't think anybody with less than 120 IQ should play with the stock market on their own. I have met 2 people who lost thousands of dollars and divorced. Regular average joe. Many people who do not have the discipline falls into the gamblers fallacy.

Yeh I guess. Idk about s&p 500 companies. I'm just giving like a general advice. Everyone is different. People like buffet is like yah u don't need high IQ to invest in Stock market. I think that's bs and I also think buffet is a snake with a grandpa appeal. I read sec files. I like reading them and I like making analysis. And based on reading company 10k I don't think average joe can make a I guess you can say a logical and unbiased analysis of how well a company will do in the future. People can read management inquiries without doing a deeper investigation of who the board of directors are. What their track records are. People don't think about the factors that affects their business related and unrelated. They can overlook small details like maybe a company in cali and don't realize that there's an overdue for an earthquake and when that happens what kind of mitigation company will do to accommodate that kinda risk and will fuck the company if affected etc. Doing research on good companies to invest for ONE person possible to take years. Lots of information lots of information can be overlooked etc. Imo if people invest to make money look somewhere else. If someone invest to grow money vs bank and they're serious. They gotta make 100k+ a year to be worthwhile. Most people here in CEF make minimum. Maybe a handful make 70k~ but they work w computers and don't know shit about the market. So generally I'll just say don't fk with the stock market. But check ur pm or gimme ur email pls.

Shkreli won the genetic lottery bro
How he did it:
>> Inherits billions of dollars
>> Invests less than 10%
>> Shits on poor people
