|
|
Hi all,
I'm having a little small problem..
I'm using cheatengine to search a value.. If i start a normall scan, it founds 4 millions records. After that I search for "Change Vallue" after doing this its sucking al of my GB's of my Harddisk. So cheatengine is not futher searching because of I dont have any memory space. But cheatengine is not stuck or hanging...
So if i canel it, my GB's of my disk goes show i have 220 GB left..
So my quistion is, is there any way to fix this problem? |

| You can change the directory where CE saves the scan files in CE's settings (and you can specify if you want CE to save the scan as an undo). |

I see, But if change the dir, it goes full on a other harddisk.
Is there no any kind checkbox to fix this?
If i'm searching for vallue's it have 5/10 mil records, after I searching for Change vallue's, it goes 1/20 and it can't look futher for vallue's that changes, because dont have any space on the Harddisk.
C: 108GB left,
G: 117GB left
P: 133GB left, |

| Narrow your scans down beforehand, so don't do any "Unknown inital scans" ... Or make some space on one of your harddrives ... |

You can setup windows to use compression in the folder with the scanfiles.
The results compress nicely but it will slow down scanning _________________

Right-click folder: Properties/Advanced.../Compress contents to save disk space.
Better yet, purchase some more disk space! If you're going to be doing pointer scans, get a drive that is more than 1TB. |
