Hello there.
I use Cheat Engine every day for hacking and debugging games.
Although, I'd like to see some features implemented to Cheat Engine that would make the tool much better to deal with simple anticheats and anti-debugging tricks, so I'll make a list (Tell me what you think about these!).
1) Adding a PEB hider for injected DLLs in a process
This would come very handy when there's the need to inject a DLL, or when CE itself uses speedhack and VEH debugger.
2)Including StealthEdit in the main source code, or letting someone choose a list of suggested plugins on setup time.
This is a wonderful plugin that is not well known for beginners/intermediate users of Cheat Engine. With this you can hook a function while bypassing most of the hooks check in existance.
It's maybe the most used plugin aswell.
3)Adding a "Previous Value" scan
With this I mean a feature that would come very handy when searching for booleans or encrypted values.
Basically, if you search for an unknown value X, then change it to Y, scan for Y, change it to X again, this scan will list out all the values that returned to the original state.
Practical Example:
The game xores the score value, 1000 to 4552 in memory.
You search for unknown initial value and get the results.
Then, you get to the score 1100, in memory 5740.
And then, when you bring it back to 1000 (4552), you can scan for it with a "Previous value".
This would cut off so much time!
If you guys have any other ideas, or would change these, write below!
Tell us what you think, DB

1: Perhaps the forced injection plugin if I port it to ce 6.5 and make some fixes
2: perhaps someday
3: that's already in. (kinda)
You can save the current scanresults (file->save current scanresults)
and then you can choose as scantype "compare to saved scan" (or compared to first scan if you didn't save any)
the scan you do then will be compared against the current value and the saved value
e.g unchanged/changed would then compare the current value to the saved results

Thanks for the fast response!
Anyway, I was thinking about the PEB hider as something more "external" , that can be toggled for any DLL in the process I choose at anytime.
For forced-hidden injecting, then manual mapping is surely better, and I'd reccomend that instead, because no API calls are made in the process.
