Cheat Engine

How do I cheat using this trainer on a game like Dying Light? I am not a programmer and am not familiar with some of this, or have not used it much. So I am looking for some patient kind people to help so I can learn. The tutorial video did not explain it where it worked for me. Do I load the game first and then go to the task manager, switch over to the trainer and then load the CT file, and how is all this done from start to finish to activate God mode for me in this game? I appreciate all the help. Thank you.

Well first off CE is not a trainer in itself. It is far more powerful tool and used to create trainers.

You don't have to be a programmer or anything of that sort to get this working. If 12 yo kids can use CE, then so can you.

Usually when you download a Cheat Table you go as follows:

* Start your game (Dying Light)
* (Optional:Play your game in Windowed or preferably in Windowed Borderless Mode, to make switching back and forth easier and faster (you notice ALT+TAB in Fullscreen mode needs a second or two to refresh))
* Launch Cheat Engine and click on the Computer Icon in the top left corner and select and attach CE to your game process dyinglight.exe or however it is called. Should be distingunishable by its icon
* Then you open the downloaded .CT (Cheat-Table) in your Cheat Engine by pressing CTRL+O or pressing the folder icon button in the top left corner of CE
* When you opened your CT you should see something like this popping up in the so called "Address list" of the program :

* Now with the game still running in the background simply tick whatever features you want to enable. For instance if you want godmode/infinite health, just tick the cross in the column "Active" in the address list
* If some feature won't enable it could be that the Cheat Table you are using was inteded for a newer/older version of the game. Some features will need a second or two to enable, depending on the complexity.
