Hello

I need some help.

Im trying to find the adress that belongs to hour, minute and second.

The time is constantly decreasing, like 23:59:59 > 23:59:58.... Till reach 00:00:00.

What I want is to input the time that I want. I could use the speed hack just to accelerate, but is not worth, since to wait too long.

Can someone help me with this? I dont know how to search, not exactly, I already searched by float, 4 byte and 8 byte. without success.

Try searching for seconds only (types 4Byte, 8Byte, float and double).

So if you still have to wait 26:36:10 then scan for 95770 (the seconds representative).
Or try even milliseconds.

You could also try with Unknown Initial Value and Decreased Values. That's how I normally do it.

What kind of game are you trying to hack? If it is an online game of any sort, it probably won't work, as timers that keep you from doing something again for a certain period of time are kept server sided and thus out of your reach to modify.


If it is a single player game though, I would recommend setting up hotkeys in Cheat Engine to pause (i.e. freeze) the game and to scan for decreased value. That should speed up your entire scanning process. In the game Resident Evil 5 for instance , there is a game type with a running count-down clock and there, it used to be a very 4 byte value, possibly it was the entire leftover time in milliseconds. But in that game it was only a timer for up to ~10 minutes. With 24 hours, maybe try to scan for double as well and try what @hhhuut is suggesting. Freeze the game and convert the time to seconds only and scan for that value with all possible types. And if that does not yield any results try milliseconds Smile

And if you scan for milliseconds, only scan for "in between" values with generous borders so you can be sure not to filter out the correct result accidentally.
