Decided to redo the tutorial, and am having trouble with this one.

I'm certain that I have the correct address for the value. The value tracks with "Change value".

Right clicked the memory location entry and used "Find out what accesses this address". I got 4 results.

All four results indicate that the address I need is 245360 (see screenshot above). However, when I do a scan for this memory address, CE comes up empty:

I have "hex" checked. What am I doing wrong?

Apologies for the images. Not sure why the CE forum website isn't showing them.

The address you need to search for is not 245360 but Tutorial-i386.exe+245360

If I search for "Tutorial-i386.exe+245360" CheatEngine says

Quote:
Scan error: threat 0: Tutorial-i386.exe+245360 is an invalid value.

it's probably wanting a numerical address. Besides, I thought that all addresses were relative to the base address of the process anyhow.

Help?

Either go to the address or add it to the address list. That'll show the actual address.
