However, I can definitely ignore Talix, because he's just a kid who's discovering drugs and the effects on consciousness and thinks he is on the borderline of understanding the divine because he gets high all the time. i have this very strange thing where ill have a dream i distinctly remember, and then months later down the road the thing I dreamed about happens in real life and a deja vu like feeling happens, but rather than feeling deja vu for the event itself, i have it for the the memory of that event. but because i understand that this would be retarded, I interpret it as my brain recognizing that an event is important for whatever reason.
lots of strange shit happens with dreams, and because of their randomness they're probably better used for self reflection than most other things, especially if you train yourself to use them this way. no reason to completely dismiss them. another thing to consider is lucid dreaming, and the fact that it is possible makes me believe that dreams are only pointless and random because we treat them that way.

In regards to your second paragraph, I can definitely say I've also had experiences similar to that. I sort of interpret it as part of the randomness of the dreams itself, instead of having a profound meaning. However, like you said, I am quick to dismiss dreams in general. Mostly because, for me, these deja vu moments don't ever seem to have anything of true importance about them, they typically just happen at times and places that I don't expect, and I never see any particular meaning or depth to it.
As far as using dreams for self-reflection, you might be correct in that regard. I dream nightly (apparently some people don't?), but each night, it's usually a long series of events barely connected to each other and shit typically goes off the rails pretty easily, while dream-me doesn't tend to question any of it, and just rolls with it all, which is probably why I dismiss it as pointless.
Lucid dreaming might be something in itself, and I've actually been keeping a record of dreams to hopefully recognize when I happen to have a similar dream to one I've had before to hopefully "wake up" inside the dream. But not for any kind of self-reflection, I just think if I could learn it, dream land would be the ultimate playground.

It's something special? All I remember is having lucid dreams, even as a kid.

yeah I used to randomly lucid dream when i was yung as well but back then ididnt try doing anything radical coz i thought it might make the dream turn into a nightmare or something, yeah pretty stupid i know
ive lucid dreamed a couple of times recently but the dreams are sometimes short, hazy, and hard to remember when i wake up. if i started keeping a dream journal i would probably get better dream recall but im to lasy
