I think you are giving me way too much credit. Maybe because the graph is not designed to show negative values.

Think of dreams in two ways.

Are they trying to force a problem you have.

Or are they trying to bullshit you.

When you start making the distinction and you really have to be honest with yourself there.

Debating why there is shitty dreams is a bit far too long.

You just have to train the mind a little to reject the idea of shitty dreams.
I have a bunch of memories of dreams where I the dream annoys me and diverts because i refuse to be part of it any more.

If you have many shitty recurring dreams, the way to go is wind your self up. Nothing esoteric about it, just repeat to your self occasionally what your stand is. Eventually your brain gets the message and wonders less like an idiot child when you sleep.

When you keep at it, you will start waking up and remembering how dreams suddenly get cuts short right before they got on your nerve. Bad dreams included. I often find people who have bad dreams, break in the same topics they would while awake.

Regardless of how it may look:

The more feeble the mind the more shitty dreams you got.

You got a problem with them? Well clean the shit in your brain-box. The fears, the insecurities, the prejudices the bullshit.

And not I'm not the genius on the white steed. I had shitty dreams, then i decided i had enough, rolled up my sleeves and did something about it.

Dreams are just your mind defragging all the shit that went through it. It's not "trying" to do anything. Dreams are not magical messengers of your subconscious or anything else.

Hari Om. Om-ity-etad-aksharam-idam sarvam, tasyopavyakhyanam bhutam bhavad bhavishyaditi sarvam-omkara eva. Yaccanyat trikalatitam tadapy omkara eva.
Hari Om. The whole universe is the syllable Om. Following is the exposition of Om. Everything that was, is, or will be is, in truth Om. All else which transcends time, space, and causation is also Om.

Sarvam hyetad brahmayam-atma brahma soyamatma catushpat.
All of this, everywhere, is in truth Brahman, the Absolute Reality. This very Self itself, Atman, is also Brahman, the Absolute Reality. This Atman or Self has four aspects through which it operates.

Jagarita-sthano bahish-prajnahsaptanga ekonavimsatimukhah sthula-bhug vaisvanarah prathamah padah.
The first aspect of Atman is the Self in the Waking state, Vaishvanara. In this first state, consciousness is turned outward to the external world. Through its seven instruments* and nineteen channels* it experiences the gross objects of the phenomenal world.

Svapna-sthano'ntah-prajnah saptanga ekonavimsatimukhah praviviktabhuk taijaso dvitiyah padah.
The second aspect of Atman is the Self in the Dreaming state, Taijasa. In this second state, consciousness is turned towards the inner world.

not to mention that in the books of Genesis, Judges, Kings, and Daniel of the Torah, not only is dreaming prophetic and divinely inspired, but have varied messages in them.

both Jung and Freud, prominent and influential psychologists, thought dreaming to contain symbolism relevant to the subconscious and waking day.
people with traumatic life experiences are also known to suffer from night terrors.

so in short, you are wrong. yes, dreams can mean plenty, and mean nothing.

Most psychologists have dismissed a majority of what Freud has said. Beyond that, the fact of that matter is, dreams are not largely understood yet, so there's nothing absolutely factual on the matter. I'll buy that you might on some level understand subconscious signals sent through dreams, but I largely believe that dreams are mostly pointless and random. I absolutely maintain that they are not a magical messenger worth listening to.

However, I can definitely ignore Talix, because he's just a kid who's discovering drugs and the effects on consciousness and thinks he is on the borderline of understanding the divine because he gets high all the time. I've met a ton of people like him, and they aren't worth the time.
