Hi,
I got this stupid problem lately, just can't seem to change it again. While I still able to change with Artmoney...
I got a full table for this game and it worked really fine back then. However lately I couldn't use cheat engine with it anymore but Artmoney.
I'm using CE 6.4 and the old version of PPSSPP which worked back then. I even try it on my friend PC and it worked just fine both CE 6.4 and 6.3 but mine... I also reinstalled my OS but the problem just wasn't fixed, Even redownload and reinstall CE all over again. However like I said, Artmoney worked just fine with my table.
Here's the thing. Please replace * for i. imgur. com . I can't post url... damn.
I did scan the correct address for it.
My Victory Cry card was 0.
*/kDm76Q6.jpg
Then I scanned the similar address for it which in this case is the $ address.
*/fEBf9au.jpg
Then I changed the address and the value for it
*/yu28wPE.jpg
It did work only that once and then changed to ?? and so unable to change again. (which still changeable on Artmoney)
*/pVqRDpV.jpg
*/dBlRH36.jpg
Then I change it to the second address for it and got the correct value
*/u27tTqP.jpg
But if I change that kind of address, PPSSPP crashes immediately
*/SGJCH6w.jpg
*/CpRx7al.jpg
*/kCiVqSD.jpg
I still love CE but this problem is unacceptable. I'm hopeless now.
Also I'm not gonna use CWcheat thank you.

Run the settings reset program that comes with ce. Perhaps you've set a confuguration option that is conflicting (e.g using kernelmode functions while you shouldn't)

Try enabling kernelmode openprocess and read/write memory then
Does your friend use the same OS and same anti virus as you?
Edit: and enable mem_mapped memory regions to be scanned as well. Emulators often store the actual game in those regions, but ce skips them by default

You mean "Setting/Debugger Options/Debugger Method/Use Kernelmode Debugger"? If so then it's still the same.
I'm currently have no anti virus software as I reinstalled my OS just now. And yea, My friend OS is Win 7 x64 6.1 build 7601, we use the same OS.
Oh and I forgot to mention it only happens not to 4 bytes but to byte address. Like those items,tools etc.. Money address still work just fine.

Not sure. Kernelmode skips some protections
You're sure your friend doesn't have kernelmode access enabled?
Have you already installed all windows updates? Perhaps this gets fixed in a later patch?(or it gets broken in a later patch and your friend has updates disabled)

Hmm, no, we don't use windows updates. Well we used crack for it u know...
Anyway, i'm sure that his CE use the default setting with only mem_mapped change. Because I was using his pc via Teamviewer to compare his and my CE.

This whole thing is strange for me. I have played a few games with PPSSPP (v0.9.9) and changed some values and using static addresses has never ever worked for me.
Some PSP games will even use dynamic addresses, so my addresses will change after a loading screen, but even if it doesn't (as it happens in many games), an emulator restart is always screwing up my static address.
As for the emulator crash, it happens sometimes. Very rarely and I don't know why, mainly if you are freezing an address instead of just changing it. It's not depending on the game or the value that you are freezing, because it often works, but sometimes in some specific games it doesn't. I would guess that the reason is the not completely static game design and maybe some values are not as static as one would believe, which may cause bugs and crashes in some cases.
And if you change a value to an amount that is overkill for the game, eg if the game was not programmed to handle more than 9 lives and you change it to 10, the emulator will often crash. (This applies to all kinds of games, not just PSP.)
