Cheat Engine

I am new to cheat engine and not having luck in the tutorial. So far, to restart the tutorial I have been unistalling then re-installing to force the tutorial option to appear. This works good for me, I'd like to know an easier way, because I want to start from square one to try to find out what I am doing wrong.
OK the tutorial is now open. These are the steps I use to get to what is stopping me. The process list is open so I start the tutorial. The list dissappears, as it should, and my health is 100. The scan type is exact value and the value type is four bytes. Then I type my health value, 100, into the value box and click first scan. A bunchy of address pops up all followed by value and previous. Now I click hit me, and type the new value into the value box and click next scan. A new bunch of addresses pops up
so I click hit me again and type the new value, 91, into the value box and click next scan. This time there is only one address pops up, goody goody. The address pops into bottom box followed by my last health value, 91. Now I can change the value to 1000. The next button IS NOT available and this is where I am stuck. So I write this post asking "what the **** did I do wrong.
I made this post as detailed as I could and I hope I included every thing. I hope somebody can figure out what I did wrong and send me eaqualy detailed instructions.
OH! I know you would like to know my OS. I have win 7 64 bit. The 64 bit thing has always been a problem with me.
One thing I would like to add is chage the color of the links.
I can hardly read them so I highlight all to change the background to white.

What is this FRAP thing? Where do I get it? It sounds like a very good way to solve problems. Meanwhile I will try my ordinary search methods to see if I can findit.

I found FRAPS, I believe.
i did a little experimentig with it in that I left it running while I plkayed one of my favorite games. The counter was definitly there and working. I will be lookming at the tutorial more todsay, but a quick question "where do I kook for results. Like logs or videos, not for there value but just curious.

I will take a look at it. Sounds even more like something I would be interested in. I have a capture card in my computer using Nero for capture and Xto? for converion so I can play the movies I capture on my player recorder. I have over 50 movies now and waiting for my card to get reconnected to the computer. My best compression, after editing out the commercialss mp4. That lets me put as ,any as 5 movies on a DVD. The only problem I have is with t6he card, its original software wouldn't work with 64 bit even after it was updsated and supposedly work with 7 and 64 bit. It also has an almost 2 second lapse between sound and video I have yet to get rid of.
