What games can you recommend to practice my CE skills. Games that have different methods to be hacked, like games needing compares, finding one/multi level pointer, etc.

Old console Roms are good, because they're small and 'freely' available. Not all emulators are good to work with, however. Look at snesgt for SNES and fceux for NES.
