yeah
really great plot premise, acting, setting, pretty much great everything, if i had to pick something to complain about is that a few scenes went on too long, but I did watch the most complete version which is 2 1/2 hours, compared to some 1 1/2 hour cuts of the movie

It's really a shame that such masterpiece has been lost.
If you are into German expressionism I recommend you to watch Das cabinet des Dr. Caligari, or if you are specifically into Lang, to watch M.

It's a nice movie. Movies during the silent era are really artistic.

ive seen a few, they are definitely different, and the acting styles are completely different, even if today you were to do a silent film it would just have a completely different vibe to it.

I plan on watching a lot more, just because theyre important and you can learn a lot about other movies by watching them, I still have a bit of trouble watching some, I dont think silent era movies have good pacing, maybe because people were just amazed at the spectacle of going to see a movie at the time they didn't give a shit. or maybe i just need to get into it more

You are more used to fast-paced, hour and a half movies, and that is okey. Blame Hollywood, the internet or whatever you want, but it is perfectly normal. If you feel like you can't watch anymore, stop it and conclude the watching later. Do it at your own pace.

You seen The Call of Cthulhu? Was a pretty good recent silent film; painfully short though. There's not a lot of good Lovecraft films, but that one is definitely one of the better ones.
Also Nosferatu is an obvious suggestion for silent films, if you can find one of the good versions.
