Hey guys. Ive been trying to CE OiF for the PC, the original one before the STEAM release. Anyways.. I can find the gold address... but it does not change.. it doesnt stick. I change it.. and it reverts back.. however it turns on some other code.. which Im assuming is just a means to screw with you. But yea... is the address I find for gold hidden.. or is it somewhere else.. or what?

That means you found the visual representation of gold, but not the actual gold.

E.g gold might have been stored using the "money" type, which is the amount of gold in cents. (E.g 100.50 gold would be stored as 10050)
Or gold is stored another way (float, double, max amount-real amount,...)

I have no idea what OiF is, but if it requires an internet connection then gold might not even be stored on your system

It is not online so it has nothing to do with servers and stuff. Ill try to use float and see what I can get... but when I find the visual rep of the gold and tried to change it.. it turned on genocide mode which makes it so I cant talk to the towns folk since all I can do is slash em to death T_T

Which means the game is hiding the gold value on purpose and screwing with attempted hackers T__T
