Cheat Engine

Ok so I am playing this game "Conquer Online" and I am able to find the value I am looking for.

I then select "find what writes to this address" and find the address+offset.

When I search for the address, I find the static (green) address 74F74738 with the offset 149C which I then add as a pointer and It works until I restart the game.

Upon restarting the game the values change and what was at 74F74738 has now changed to FFFFFFFFF and the pointer is no longer working.

But when I do the process again, I get back to that same static address with the same offset but everytime I reopen, it loses the value? I assume I am not doing something right. Can anyone point me to a tutorial or tell me what I'm missing?

Edit: I have created a C# program to read the value in memory 0x74F74738 + offset 149C. But it only works after I add the pointer in CE. What the heck is going on!? lol

Edit2: upon further inspection it appears that I can only access the pointer once I attach the VEH debugger to the game. Before It always just returns 0. Anyone know why and how I could get the value from C#?

you simply can't cheat online
only experts that understands methods can and they're limited too.
you can only hope to cheat offline game
make sure you disconnect internet cable... if the game works after that then it's hackable otherwise not

Fresco that's not 100% correct.
Theres game that go off if theres no ineternet connection, and still hackable (plenty of them).
