| Not to make you look bad OP, but this works. It's how I charge my Galaxy S3 ever since the cable broke. I usually charge it for about a minute or two to get it to around 80% when I'm cooking dinner. People who failed in succeeding probably used older models or fucked batteries.

Also have to remember that some 'microwave ovens' combine regular heat with microwaves which could have an effect on the results. I usually do it with my phone as well but only for shorter periods since my microwave is like that.

Every time I put my iPhone in my microwave it starts to make this loud popping noise about 5 seconds in. I can only ever get it to charge 2 or 3% before the pops start to worry me. Would either of you guys know what's causing this?
