How do I cheat?

From yesterday I have found that Shockwave crashes as soon as I attempt to adjust speedhack. CE opens, I can scan as normal, but as soon as I try to reduce the speedhack value of 1 down to 0.2, shockwave fails.

I have checked my Shockwave and I am using the macromed version, not the built in pepperflash. This problem has only come up since my Windows 8 updated yesterday.

Any ideas how I can get around this? Thanks.
