I'm trying to get address of static pointer with multilevel pointers.

I found address of value and then i right click "Find out what writes to this address" and i found ;

... address is probably 139F6000

Then i search for it (hex), Cheat Engine Found 2 adress ;

139F6080 and 139F5FDC.

I click "Add Address Manually" and select pointer and set offset to 28

Both address point right address and right value, when i change value from game, both adresses updated correcly.

Then i decide take next step. And right click pointer 139F6080 and select "Find out what access to this address", i changed to value from game but nothing happens.

Then i try nextpointer (139F5FDC) and again try "Find out what access to this address", then 3 op codes appear ;

5CCF7C64 - 8B 76 2C - mov esi,[esi+2C]
5CF2B9F1 - 8B 7F 2C - mov edi,[edi+2C]
5CCF7CC0 - 8B 76 2C - mov esi,[esi+2C]

and 3 of them says ... address is probably 139F6000 . Which is same adress as previous step.

I cant figure out what i do and decided to try "Pointer scan for this address".

But nothing happens i mean no pointer founded.

I dont know what I did wrong.

I'd appreciate you told me what I did wrong.

ps: i completed all cheat engine tutorials include multilevel pointer tutorial.

If the pointer scanner is not yielding any results, try changing the settings.

I tried

unchecked "Only find paths with a static address" and "Don't include pointers with read-only nodes" options

First scan yields lot of thinks. Then i close game and restart, found adress again and try rescan but scanner is not yielding any result.

By the way the game was Mars War Logs and im trying get base addres of serum (money).

My OS is Windows 8 - 64 bit

Also try increasing 'Maximum offset value' and 'Max level'. Other options can also be tried. If all else fails, however, you can always use code injection.
