Hello Everyone,

I have a little problem with an offline flash game I am testing cheat engine on. I find it very weird actually so I decided to post it here. There is a counter in the game that keeps rising every mouse click.

I found the address and it shows the same value as the game. I froze it in CE but the value in the game keeps rising. I removed the freeze and changed it to 1 and on mouse click it became 2 in CE but in game it's still counting, like if it was 15 it will become 16!

It's driving me crazy, any thoughts anyone?

^If you do that, best case scenario nothing happens, worst case you shit bricks...uhm game crashes.

The only time it could work what DaSpamer said to do is if the value you found is changing too quick and its a real value. But its usually not and what you found is a display value.

Your best bet is to do a search in another data type or an unknown search and find the real value.

@DaSpamer, I tried what you suggested, but what @STN followed up really happened. I replaced it with a code that does nothing, and nothing happened really, it kept counting. I went a little bit further and BAMMM, the game crashed!

It's a double value, I searched the whole thing but I only found the address that I already found before. I used: unknown, changed, unchanged, increased; none worked so far.

Going to try another value type now...

If you have any other ideas meanwhile, please let me know!

Unknown value and type with changed/unchanged is my bet. Anyways how about you name the game? I might find it myself.
