Wrong, malware bytes is a joke although not in the public eye, anti-viruses these days are getting more and more advanced, signature based detection are of the past.
Even though malware can be fud scan time, it may be not run time.
E.g Eset now has hips and threatsense, even if the malware is fud(scan time) if the user is knowledgeable it can be dealt with most of the time. |

| I second Comodo for a free version it is very good. It is also very good for Mums and Dads who don't know much about computers. However it can be a pain sometimes because it can block some patches or other programs you are trying to run or install. |
