How do I cheat?

hi all hacking gurus..
i am trying to hack this chinese web browser game.
(i cant post URLs yet)
i used CE 6.2 to find the value of the gold coins..and then i spent some, then i click next scan..
the address left 1..
but when i changed the value to lets say 999999999
it only appears in my inventory..but in actual fact its still the same..
does it mean this game's items, gold, experience etc are all server-sided and i can totally do nothing to hack anything at all?
i am using windows 7 ultimate and cheat engine 6.2.
any advice is much appreciated..

if it's only visual then yes, it's server sided (web browser games tend to be 100% server sided)

Well there are a few exceptions (speaking from experience).
Link me to the game using dots separating the url and i'll take a look.

but i thought those facebook games are browser too?
but mostly of them can be hacked right?

I am trying to increase the above 3 things.
1. Qi (you'll need alot of this to upgrade weapons, armours, basically anything in game)
2. Gold Coins. (self-explainatory, used for hp pots, mp pots, skillbooks etc)
3. Gold Cash. (The main currency of the game, I know most games' cash cannot be hacked, so I am not putting much hope on this.)
PS: Why cant I post an image, how many posts do I need to post URLs or images from Photobucket?

hello i have the same probs with this flash game ..server sided..no way to change value.in fact changes are only visual..
I mange to use cheat engine to speed hack training but no way to hack prestiges points or money ...
and if i want to scan with multiple of 8 it's not good : no results
when i scan the real number i see in the screen of the game i manage to find it ...but after changing values are only visual..
