|
|
Hi guys,
I am having an issues with a steam game called payday the heist.
Normally steam won't let you attach a debugger and will immediately close the game if it detects one.
I managed to find a custom dll that I inject which allows me to attach a debugger but when I NOP or inject / change any code it will crash.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop this?
It does it with cheat engine and tsearch.
Cheers.

steam has an anti cheat system (VAC)
beat the system and you win.
try encrypting cheat engine for that (google: UCE)

Hey,
VAC is called VALVE Anti Cheat, so only Valve games (not even all) are protected by VAC. Since Payday: The Heist is a valve game, it may be protected by VAC, but VAC is most often only active when it comes to multiplayer gaming.

That won't do anything, since he does not want to hide CE, but to change the gamecode.
You need to find the code, wich detects if the code was changed or not. Take a look at Geris Tutorial on how to find and kill the xlive checks.
