I was working around with driver at windows xp so far.
But now that i moved to windows 7 i read somewhere it's different because every driver has to be signed using microsoft certificate or something.
I also read that signing drivers for testing is possible using the sdk tools (signtool and makecert)
so i downloaded them and created my own certificate and signed my test driver to it but when i load it nothing from my Dbgprint pops in the DbgView (kernel output is marked btw).
I did start DbgView as admin.
and how exactly i configure my system to support loading test signed drivers?
I followed a tutorial about makecert through msdn and then using signtool but with no success.
I tried to avoid using visual studio 2011 and the WDK that comes with it because it kinda stinks :\ _________________
