If I press space 4 times in the hex editor - trying to edit a string, then I'm brought to an unused section of memory.

It doesn't always happen to me either, sometimes I can hold down space just fine while editing.

What's the reason for this?

I think that the startselection isn't cleared and when the distance between start and the last space is the same as 4, ce interprets it as a selection of 4 bytes, which causes the hexview to jump to that address

I'll see if I can fix it for next version
