I don't know where to start so I will just tell you the problem.

I tried to hack a browser based game and I found the address that I want. The address stored a value of 20 so I browsed the address's memory region. The value of 20 is the cost of buying something so I if change the value to 40 and buy the item, my money will decrease by 40. But if I change the value to -9, my money will increase by 9. The problem is that if I change the value to -999, my money will still increase by 9. So, how do I edit this address so that when I buy this item, my money will increase by my desired value?

I did not read the guidelines yesterday, so sorry. The game that I am hacking is a facebook game called Social Empires. "Money" that I said before I edited this post refers to "Cash" in the game. I know that the cash is server sided but we could hack it by editing the value of an item sold in the shop in the game and buy it. But I encounter a problem in editing the value.

So here are some attachments that might help you to help me.

we sure aren't allowed to tell you how to hack online games, but since it works, but with (adding 9 to your cash) and then sell with a bigger amount of money!
but i doubt that the developers are so f*..... stupid to make such mistake, so i think that the money value can be find as well, trace foreword the code and see where does the code add money, or takes money away from, you should be able to find your cash address
