In 100 years humanity would reach a type 1 civilization which is able to harness the energy of natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornado's, earthquakes. Its part of the Kardashev scale, google it. Pretty interesting stuff, quantum physics in general is pretty cool. Humans probably could have achieved a type 1 civilization 20 years ago if everyone wasn't so greedy (oil companies mainly).
