A little while ago I was trying to hack facebook games such as 'empires and allies' and 'social empires'. However the value keeps on changing back to normal value (original value) after i have typed in the value I want even though I have crossed out the active checkbox. Sad

I am using cheat engine 6.1. Please reply A.S.A.P. Thanks!!

Cheat Engine cannot be used to hack server sided games (multyplayer)
and does not support online hacks

Pretty much what Fresco said.
Occasionally, you can exploit a little bit; e.g. on minecraft, you can make yourself "client-side immortal" by changing health to 20, freezing and then drowning. The server thinks you're dead so you're free to explore, but with a few limitations. However, most severs patch this/do not have this "exploit" because they store the values on the server.
Just as an example, minecraft servers(default and bukkit) store everything about players in a .dat file, and worlds in other files. Pretty much nothing is on the client. All you are changing is the display value(what you see on the screen).
