I don't use VSTs,for the most part, all synths I used are in reason. Thor is my best friend.
But the best vst I know of is native instruments "Massive" skrillex deadmau5 and lots of popular electronic artists use it. Haxory showed me sylenth, which is also a really good vst. I could help you with things beyond synths though, like equalizing, compressing, limiting, filters, etc, if you want.

All I can say is use a 3 oscillator synth with a sawtooth square and sine wave, then distort it like fuck then automate it, and create 20 more and shove them into a song.

I'm going to approach it diferent. making a melody, some rifts and going to use dirsty wub wub basses just as decorations.
