(I feel like I've started a thousand threads with that title.)

but so I got this old shitty Apple PowerBook G4 that used to be my dad's.

Shit's got a motherfucking 667MHz PowerPC processor. Then, they tossed a whopping 512MB of 133MHz RAM on this young motherfucker. But oh no, they didn't stop there. They went ahead and threw a 16MB video card on it.

But in all seriousness, it's absolute ass. It has difficulties with javascript (Facebook hardly works). Runs OSX 10.4. Can't even get Flash to work. Battery lasts half an hour maybe? Not that I'd want it off a desk anyway, burns like shit.

Was going to try installing Ubuntu/Debian, however neither have PPC support. Currently trying Arch and CentOS. So far I haven't gotten it to even boot from a CD though.

I wanna know what to do with it. If all else fails, I'll probably hit it with a baseball bat.

Better idea : get some friends an play baseball with that as the bat.
