I am trying to record videos of games with fraps , in these games I'm using Cheat Engine and fraps not make videos of them but make screenshots , when I try to make videos of those games without Cheat Engine fraps makes the videos , then why not the fraps make videos with Cheat Engine activated ?

Does fraps work by pressing hotkeys or pressing buttons?

If hotkeys, try holding down the hotkey more than 1 second and see if that helps

If not, or it's buttons, then no idea, perhaps it's some kind of drm

I can use fraps with Cheat Engine without problems.

I had similar problem.

try this
1) launch game
2) launch FRAPS

3) alt tab to game, alt tab to desktop

4) launch cheatengine

I no longer have this problem. Don't know why.
