I'm using this computer and when i go to use i play a game it turns off all by itself and i don't know why, i think the issue is fan speed how do i edit fan speed in windows 7?

I had this problem with many computers before. The typical thing is over heating as you implied in your OP. Most of the time, I would dust out my rig, more specifically the fan on the processor.

K I'll try it sometime, I think Microsoft should make an application to monitor fan speed and temperature.

More than likely an overheating problem. Download Core temp and GPU Observer, then report what temperatures you're getting. I'd bet it is the CPU, because when a GPU hits hgh temperatures you usually see visual complications.

Its either temp overheating or your psu is shorting out.
