I got an acer 7338G, and I have read that it is compatible with 250gts m?

Very unlikely, as the two cards will probably have different power requirements. You'll also have to find a card that matches the exact MXM slot in your machine which varies from vendor to vendor, assuming it even uses one for such a low-end card.

Couldn't even find documentation of your model on Google, and there are no references of people swapping cards. You're better off buying a new machine, saving the trouble.

I suppose you could give it a shot... Since someone had swapped their card out for a 4670m, it might mean that the BIOS doesn't have a whitelist of compatible hardware, or that the cards are on the list. I'm not going to bet on anything, but chances are, you might be able to pull it off. Make sure you buy the card with the correct interface though (MXM-A). And even then I'm still doubtful about the power. The 130m takes 23w, while the 250m eats 28w. Not a big difference, but it might be just enough to throw off your charger and battery. No concrete predictions though.

But for 250 Euros (and shipping + taxes), you might just want to reconsider "is it worth the hassle?"
