it depends on the game and how it's programmed
perhaps one is for the total ammo
the other one is for ammo in the current clip (and if it's a weapon without clips it matches total ammo)
and perhaps the other two are the copies of the above 2. (e.g in some games you have a client.dll and a server.dll, and client.dll is responsible for the visual updates on the screen, and server.dll is responsible for the actual variables (e.g F.e.a.r)
as for finding the real one, change the first one to 2, second one to 4, thiord one to 6, and 4th one to 8
then fire once and see what the new value is
if 1 it's the first one
if 3 it's the second one
if 5 is't the third one
if 7 it's the fourth one
In case of client/server buildup this can cause problems when the client thinks you still have ammo and the server part thinks you do not. You then get the shoot animation without actually shooting.
In that case, try freezing them all
