The issue before was "there would not be enough traffic in the section".
This is a lame excuse in my opinion because people hardly post in the art section, yet that still is up. Not everyone draws or likes art. But I'm sure pretty much everyone likes music, and could at least add their own taste of music into the forum and help others expand on their own.

The issue is, the forum will get too MUCH traffic, causing it to be more active than any other section besides random spam. The resolve to that would be to not allow post count increments.
I have a feeling the section will also be flooded with dubstep, if it happens, which is likely a no.

I see it just turning into the same thing as the Art section. Just full of shit posts downing everyone because someone doesn't have the same opinion. Whats the first topic going to be? 'Whats your favorite band?' And that will immediately turn into a 'ur a fag' fest because everyone likes different things.

You're describing every other forum and subforum when you say that too. Not just music choice in general.

Many message boards that are created for a specific reason have other forums about different interests. People are brought here by cheat engine, yes, but that's far from the reason people stick around. Half the people here spend all their time in Random Spam, just because they enjoy conversation.
That being said, I would also enjoy a music sub-forum. I could see how it might not have a ton of traffic, but as a rebuttal, I offer that we have a "Web Development" forum that also doesn't have a ton of traffic, but I'm sure when it's used, it's appreciated by the people who do use it.
I'm quite interested in music, and would like to discuss bands, concerts, etc. While it is indeed plausible to make a topic about it in Random Spam, unfortunately, given the fact that there are virtually no rules there, the topics typically become about something unrelated or an argument or something along those lines. So yes, a music section would be nice.
