Well, really im in a mess i just reformatted vista but i didn't have much space in my c drive so i started erasing/backing stuff but when i come to a state that i deleted EVERYTHING except the windows folder there isnt enough space (15 gb) to reformatt my computer and install the os on c drive so what i did was install it on the h drive but now when i try get on my old vista to delete the os it doesnt work, system wont boot, it takes me to a black screen and doesnt go upon that.
So i started my new reformatted vista and tried going to my computer and formatting the c drive but it says "windows was unable to complete the format", maybe its because of administrative priviligies? But how can i give myself priviligies to format the c drive when i cant boot the os that is installed on that drive? help, plox.

Get a bigger HDD if your hard drive is mad puny.
And your doing it wrong, you can't format C:\ within itself.

You format from the OS installation.
You're using a CD right?

My HDD is good almost 300gb space, the problem is that only 30gb space for the c drive and 270 gb for the h drive o.o

Let me try and get this straight. Do you have two hard drives or just one partitioned into 2 parts? (1 is 30 the other is 270) Do you have an OS installed on both drives if there are two? You erased a bunch of stuff on your C:\ drive but couldn't clean up enough room so you installed your OS on H:\, but when you tried to delete the C:\ one, it wouldn't work. The issue there would be that C:\ is still your primary boot drive and you need to change that in BIOS so it reads H:\ first. If you want to just keep C:\ as a boot drive and H:\ as storage, simply boot into Windows and format H:\ then format C:\ again with a fresh install.
In response to your last question:
Boot into C:\
Click Start
Right click Computer and choose Manage
Double click on Disk Management
Select H:\ and right click it.
Choose format.
That should fix that.

Also something you could have tried earlier is since Vista Windows did away with the good old boot.ini file, and now uses BCD, you could have edited BCD to reflect what disk ran Windows.
