Hey guys,

For the longest time now, my internet connection would just drop once I started to watch a Youtube video, or listen to someone's music playlist online. I've ensured that all my Network adapters were up to date. Windows Update seems to have gotten everything installed as well.

I don't know if it's the streaming that causes it, but I never lose connection when I'm just browsing through CEF, uploading/downloading files, or playing an online game. I've only been disconnected when streaming videos and music.

I'm using wi-fi on my laptop to connect to the internet. When I'm using a wired connection, I don't have this problem.

If there's any more information that I should provide to make this more clear, please let me know.

Are you using your home network? Or is this a network elsewhere? What type of router? If it's not your network and it's something like the library, Starbucks or someplace that offers free wifi they may not allow streams due to the load they would produce.
