The pure truth is, most other servers are impromptu. People just run the server on a desktop with no real consideration to the technical difficulties, so they are below average quality, and truth be told, that's all a desktop based server will ever be. What I'm trying to say, if a server isn't VPN or dedicated, then it's not a server. So for now GearCraft is the best choice you have hardware wise, deal with it.
