Are we allowed to write it in first person? I'm doing my Math IA, and my plan was to use phrases similar to "Now we can..." and "We can address this problem by...". Basically, I'm using the word "We" from time to time. Is this allowed?

And what if I used "I" in my sentences, for example, "I am now going to..."?

I didn't ask my math teacher and now I'm stuck... And I really think I should start now. I've held it off for too long already.

Also, I need good graphing software. Any recommendations? I've read some reviews and it seems like I should choose between DeltaGraph and GraphPad Prism. If you guys have had experience using them, how were they in comparison to the others?

My fault for leaving this for the last minute. It's due on Friday, but I need to have it done by tomorrow night so I can get it reviewed.

If you're trying to persuade readers, then use we.
I think use we.

The purpose of this essay is to show that we have learned how to solve the sum of infinite summation. In other words, we've learned how to solve endless geometric sequences. We show this by using evidence such as example equations and graphing/plotting our results on a line graph and data table. It goes a little further than that, but I guess I'll use "we" for the entire thing for now.

Yeah, I asked my teacher earlier today. He said writing it in first person would be okay.

So it's all good.
