I have a small Laptop, the Samsung NC10
What I'm trying to do is install "Windows XP Performance Edition SP3" Nov. 2010 Rev.
What I need help with finding is a fairly simple to use program that allows me to make a bootable USB with WinXP on it.
I've tryed Flashboot, i try using the "WinXP PE" option, but it says some error message, which I will elaborate on if needed.
I've used like 4 other programs off of random googled guides.
One makes the laptop crash when trying to install, the other flashboot, the other 2 just plain don't work.

TL;DR
Looking for some program to help me make a bootable WinXP USB to install on laptop.

Tools needed:
USB Multiboot This file http://wiki.eeeuser.com/_media/usb_multiboot_10.zip
HP USB Formatting tool, google around you can find it.

Follow method 2 in this page. http://wiki.eeeuser.com/windowsxpusb

It's for a EEE I realize that you are not trying to install to one, but I just 2 days ago installed XP to one following this method using the tools listed and was successful. The creation of the bootable usb drive should be universal. Of note * I had to actually create the bootable USB from a Windows XP installation. It would not work properly from Windows 7 no matter the options I chose. I can not vouch for Vista, but you may run into some issues.

Also of note. Once install was complete I had to edit the boot.ini file to remove the last line that was making the computer look to the USB at boot, meaning with that line included it would only boot using the USB drive, removing it made it boot to Windows normally.

I get up to choosing the USB i want to use, it just says Fat32/NTFS are not valid.

I'm using a 4gig USB too..
This is what happened last time I attempted to use this program
Also; I've tryed using boith PEtousb and the HP format thing.
And I just end up with "E: has NOT FAT FAT32 or NTFS Format and is NOT Valid"

I've tryed both long format and short, on both PE/HP
Also; Can't run the .bat file as admin because it always is missing a file when i do.

What OS are you trying to format the USB from?

I was getting the format error when I tried to do it from Windows 7, I ended up having to format the USB from a Windows XP box.

Well, I'm on 7.
So I'll assume thats the problem, switching to laptop.

Well i did everything on XP
But, during install it just Blue screens. Like right at the start.

Apparently the Samsung NC10 uses Sata HD's
Which are apparently incompatible with WinXP in general, which is probably why it crashes, so what i need now is a fix.

Not really. The reason XP dislikes Sata HD installs is due to missing SATA drivers. If you find the drivers you need, you can slip stream them into an install that will work. Slip streaming is no more advanced than what you are trying to do. It's just one or two more steps.

When it start it says, "Session3_Initialized_Failed"

Read the instructions on that page carefully. When I installed mine I had to press F2 to get to the boot menu and each time I had to select Option 2, session 3 is for when you have the full blown system installed and should only be used after your first login.
