Guys, i've recently tested google chrome on my computer. It was fast, and easy to use; It was like the best web browser....
But when i've downloaded a 438kb file, it took about 10seconds to complete the download. Normally i get 400kb on firefox, but this, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
If there was some way to speed up google chrome's download speed i would be w00t!
You are welcome for suggestions on how to speed up google chrome's dl speed.
I still think FireFox is superior though, except the fact that it needs a decent computer to run it fluently without any 'Not Responding' status..

Your download speed isn't based on your browser. It's based on your bandwidth and the upload speed of the host you're downloading from.

Sure, the browser may seem to speed it up by sending multiple requests for the file but there's not really any way to forcefully increase your download speed.

Maybe i could use download managers, plug-in or software, does not matter.
Any recommendations?

IDM is wonderful, but how it works is it connects multiple times to the same connection to download different parts of the file then reunites them, it can really hurt some servers so beware.

Yeah, some servers react to that with an instant ipban
