How can you change your multiplayer name?
I know of a bunch of server's that don't verify names.
All the guides i've found say use quick memory editor and search for "Player" (player is the default name if you dont login)
Once you find it, change it to whatever youd like
I've used quick memory editor and cheatengine and once I change the name the game crashes. Anyone had any luck changing their name in the 1.2 beta? |

| If its a multiplayer game, you cant change the name, when you change the value in your computer, it becomes client side, not serve side. To change the name and everyone see, you have to change in server. Maybe it crashes because your infromation isnt equal server information (anti cheat system). I dunno about this game, just doing hypotheses. ^^ |

Actually its really simple , just attach to javaw.exe and go to the multiplayer menu .
Then scan for Player , set valuetype to text and check unicode. You will get a few addresses, its usually the last one .
To change it just change type from text to array of bytes , replace the bytes with the hex bytes for you name , and make sure to pad each other byte with 00.
The string is 12 bytes long and cant be more or less. so choose a name 6 characters long.
This address will change even if u go to a different menu , so do a pointer scan or find pointer manually.
and this is how nonregistered user can play on an offline server with other nonregistered users.
(This is using CE, not quickmemeditor.) _________________
